| Peter said to Jesus, "Master I will follow you wherever you go, I will lay down my life for you. | ||||||||||||||

| Jesus turned and said to him, "Peter, this very night before the cock crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me." Peter said," O my Lord never, even if I have to die for you." Jesus said,"You will all lose faith, the shepherd will be struck and the sheep will be scattered." (John 13:36-38) |

| "Truly I tell you. One of you is about to betray me." The disciples looked at each other at a loss as to whom he meant. John asked Jesus,"Master, I am sick at heart, who will betray you, is it I?" Jesus answered,"He who dips his bread in the dish when I dip mine, he shall be the one." | ||||||||||||||

| Jesus dipped His hand as well as Judas Iscariot. Then Jesus turned to him and said, "What you are going to do, do it quickly." Judas then left into the night. (John 13: 29-30) |
