| About 8 days after this Jesus took Peter, James, and John to a mountain to pray. While he was praying His faced changed in appearance and shone like the sun and his clothesbecame white as snow. | ||||||||||

| And behold, 2 men were conversing with Him, Moses and Elijah who appeared in glory. The disciples saw His glory and a cloud came and cast a shawdow over them. They became frightened when they entered the cloud while a voice said,"This is my beloved Son, listen to Him." | ||||||||||

| When the disciples heard this they fell to the ground and covered themselves, but Jesus came and touched them saying,"Rise and do not be afraid." When the disciples raised thier eyes, they saw no one else but Jesus alone. (Luke 9:28-36) |
