One of the Pharisees named Simon invited Jesus to come to his house. There were scribes there and they discussed some things with Jesus in regards to His teachings as well as His healing on the Sabbath. Joseph of Arimathea was one who strongly admirred Jesus. |

As they spoke a women came in, dropped on her knees, kissed and cried on the feet of Jesus. She dried her tears from His feet with her hair and anointed them |

Simon saw this and told her, "This is no place for you woman, come leave quickly." The others murmered that if Jesus was a prophet he would know she was a sinner. Jesus told Simon to please to sit down. |
