| These are pictures from my 150 gallon. I have about 215lbs of live rock, 120lbs of live sand, 4-72" VHO tubes, two white, two blue. Nothing real special for a filter depend on the rock and the sand to do most of the buffering. I dont use a calcium reactor, instead I use a additive call BIO-Calcium and the corals seem to be pretty happy. If I do notice the corals not looking big and full, this usually means it is time for a water change. It is pretty hard to get too much to the BIO-Calcium. I have found out that a water change or two in sequence, will fix almost any problem with water quality issuses. |
