| Huainan as a city has a very old and interesting history. It was founded in 283 BC by peasants. In the 1112 census 15,923 resident were counted. This remarkable place has produced a great many outstanding people and deep culture. In history, Huainan was a place of origin of the bean curd, and the ancient battle field of the famous �Battle of Feishui�. Nowadays, it has become the base of a hundred million tons of coal, the base of East China electric power and the base of the coal and chemical industry. |

| Dinners with Herbert's colleagues. Dinning together is the best way of meeting and getting to know colleagues,customers and friends. After dinner, we spend some more time in the bar. Language barrier is of course there but we manage to communicate with each other. |

| Our friends in Huainan, the Lee Family. The husband is the General Manager of CPI, Herbert's customer. We always gather to dinners. On Saturdays, I meet them for lunch and give them English tutorial lessons for 2 hours. Thereafter, we go for the ladies' appointments i.e. shopping, spa and beauty care.. Not too bad at all. |

| A week break from work- we flew to Beijing. We had a Korean dinner with Herbert's German colleauges. Something dfferent and the food was excellent. |
