The City of Arhus
Arhus is the cultural centre of Jutland, and Denmark's second largest city. A lively university city as well as an important trade centre and seaport, Arhus is intimate enough to get to know in the space of a few hours, but large enough to fill both days and nights with culture, intriguing sites, fabulous food and the very best that Denmark has to offer in terms of live entertainment.

The Domkirke, in the historic quarter, is Denmark's oldest church. Now Gothic in style with a high clock tower, it was transformed from a Romanesque building in the 15th century. The bronze baptismal font dates to 1481, and the pulpit to 1588. The splendid pipe organ was installed in 1730.
