Holiday fishing license approx 26 Euros for 15 days fishing. The Verdon is mainly fly fishing for Fario trout, Lac D'Allos has a mixture of Arctic Char, trout and Mountain Salmon. Lac Castillon has a much larger variety of fish, such as pike, pike-perch
Astronomy
As there is little light polution try bringing your binoculars, you should be able to see the Milkyway without a problem, if you need some help with working out exactly what you are looking at try the site below:
Click on the Observing Site button and enter the Lat/long of Allos, which is roughly latitude of 44 14' 30" N and a longitude of 6 37' 30" E. Also enter the time and date when you visit, this will plot the night sky for you and allow you to print this map off.
It should included the positions of the moon, stars, constetllations and passing objects such as comets even objects such as other galaxies.
