| Well, I've finally prepared a section on Wiccan's religious beliefs! First off, as I have before mentioned, Wiccans have no association with the "Devil" at all. The "devil" is part of the Christian belief system. Second, we don't believe in "Hell", or any place of the sort. This too is Christian in origin. In Wiccan beliefs, souls are reincarnated after death, that is, they go on to lead another life. Though, after death, we may spend some time in the summerlands, which is sort of a place for souls that are.... between lives. Here, we may be spirit guides for somebody on the Earthly plane, or we just may be resting up for our next life. Third, we don't cast spells to control others, we cast spells to help ourselves and others. We always have in mind the wiccan rede: "An ye harm none, do as ye will." Well, I think that will do for a brief (very brief) summary of Wiccan beliefs, or at least, my beliefs as a Wiccan. If you have any questions that weren't answered above, feel free to email me Home |
