| Buffy Summers, is the chosen one. The Slayer, the only girl in the world with the ability to kill vampires, and fight the forces of evil. She came to Sunnydale from L.A, trying to start a new life after burning down her old school's gym. Her best friends are Willow and Xander. In series 2 she is offered as sacrafice to Reptile Boy She is stalked by the Order of Taraka She has to kill Angel, her only successful relationship to stop the forces of Hell from over taking the Earth. |

| Angel or Angelus was a main character on the show. Previously an Irish drunk he got turned into in to a vampire in Ireland in 1753 by Darla, from then on he was a bit nasty, killing his own family and giving anybody else he met a nasty death. When he fed on a gypsy, a curse restored his soul making him unable to kill again until he finds true happiness. When the spell is lifted he quickly reverts in Surprise. He joins Spike and his crew to do bad. At the end of series 2, he tries releasing the demon Acathla, with the power to suck the Earth in to Hell. However at the crucial moment, Willow restores his soul using Jenny Calenders spell. Buffy has no choice. She has to Kill Angel to close the vortex so Acathla cannot rise. |
| Giles is the watcher, however there is more to him than meets the eye. Firstly; dropping out of Oxford he dabbled in the occult as seen in the Dark Age Giles plays guitar and has skills to fence and shoot tranquilzers. Usually he is reserved, but when pressured; he can be vicious and can hold his own in a ruck His relationship with IT teacher Jenny Calender loosened him up, but when Angel murders her he is badly affected Anthony Stewart Head was the old Nescafe advert guy if you recognised him from somewhere else. |

| Cordelia is the perfect example of bad girl turning good, but still being bad if you know what I mean. She changed loads from series 1 to 2. Before, she was one of those snobbish characters that nobdy watching the program likes, in to a snobbish character that everyone likes. She has the California License 'Queen C' on her red car. She has a thing with Xander but she doesn't want anyone to find out because she think's her friends will think less of her, but after she finds out her friends are actually sheep that just scout she goes back with Xander with pride |

| Willow is the computer whizz of the Scooby Gang. Willow had a torch for Xander, but because Xander cannot read the signals he doesn't do anything about it. Willow and Oz connect at the career fair where he took a bullet to save her When she found out that Oz was the werewolf, she took it in her stride. After Jenny Calender dies, Willow goes through her computer files, finding the spell to restore Angel's soul |

| Xander Harris is the funny joker of the crew. He is always the one to come up with the one liners He used to like Buffy, before Cordelia. His best friend is Willow and he likes to eat snack foods with artificial ingredients. He is very unlucky with women. Even his relationship with Cordelia is a bit on the wierd side. Later in series 2 he blackmails Amy Madison to cast a love spell on Cordelia when she temporarly dumps him. The spell backfires and all the women in Sunnydale are in love with him except Cordelia |
