About Us
In the Beginning...

The truth is that I have always wanted to run my own Herb Farm. Where friends and family would be able to come out to visit and learn about the many different ways one could cook, heal and decorate their homes with some of these lovely plants.  Eventually, my attention shifted over to the
Camellia Sinensis leaf and I discovered a whole new world was waiting there for me to explore!

My fondest memory...
When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I would make tea with my younger siblings, and we'd use lots of milk and sugar!  Oh yeah, and make toast with butter and jelly too!!

Creating the Dream...

The truth is that I have always wanted to run my own Herb Farm. Where friends and family would be able to come out to visit and learn about the many different ways one could cook, heal and decorate with some of these lovely plants.  Eventually, my attention shifted over to the Camellia Sinensis leaf and a whole new world was discovered.

VictoriAnna's ~ Teas, Cups & Things (formally Yerba Buena ~ The Good Herb (2000) and The Little Garden Tea Shop (2004)) came into its early stages of production when a Merchant friend of mine encouraged me to assist her at running her little Market Tea Shop.  As I became familar with the behind-the-scene adventures of owning one's own business, I was exposed to the many facets of tea-life that included the purchacing, stocking, repackaging  and selling of teas, in addition to herbals and fruit blends.  These adventures allowed me to learn various blending techniques and how to brew that perfect cuppa!  Additionally, I was exposed to various public events and assisted in creating mini-seminars that honed in on a particular area of the general public and other small business owners.

What I came to realize after a couple of years on my own was that, even though the tea business was flourishing within the restaurants and small Tea Houses, there were very few tea shops, if not any, that existed locally.  Nor was there a tea service in place that would enhance the ultimate tea experience.  In fact, many of these businesses were still offering brand name tea bags to their customers.  Of course, a lot of things have changed since I first began nearly eight years ago.  Thank heavens!

With the springing up of tea rooms and tea party businesses and the like, VictoriAnna's ~ Teas, Cups & Things still maintains a unique audience that is open to receiving the beneficial elements of these extrodianry plants, through the traditional practices of tea drinking, socializing and educational workshops.
