His Father, Mother, and Brother Alexander had their Funeral services in this church.
Ben was Married to Eleanor Chavez in this church
This is where he met Monsignor Barry, ( who later married Timothy and Michael Chavez)

1944-Ben Joined the Navy and 2 weeks after his high school graduation he left home for the Navy.
He was assigned to the USS Wichita (CA45) in the South Pacific.
This ship was in many battles, and was the first ship into Nagasaki after it was bombed.
1946-After the Navy, been moved to Catalina Island and drove a Truck from the Rock Quarry to the Barges.
The rocks were used to build the break water in San Pedro.
1951-Ben Married Eleanor Chavez ( She had two children Christine and Richard Petersen)
1951-Ben worked as a TV repairman

1955-Ben joined IATSE Local 33 as a Stage & Sound Technician
