Middle Age Provinces of Litva


 

 

In the Middle Ages the governor of a Litvan province was called Vajvoda, and the province - Vajvodstva (Vajvodship).

Vajvodships had flags with two tales and arms with Pahonias as on the flags.

Subdivisions of the Vajvodships were called Paviet (plural Paviety). Paviety had flags with one tail and a Pahonia on them.
