Chapter 11: Stone
In the 11th chapter, shortly after the divorce of Zeus and Hera, Hera remembers that her wine closet is full. She sneaks into Olympus and manages to get inside her wine closet, only to be caught by Zeus and locked in the dungeon. Hades comes to Olympus and gets locked up as well, only to have Pain and Panic untie him. Hera attempts to escape, but runs into Zeus. Angered, he takes her to the throne room and demands that she remarry him. Hera refuses and is turned mortal. After snickering about her meager punishment, Zeus brings out Medusa and Hera is turned to stone. Hades arrives and takes the statue back to the underworld with him. The only way that Hera can be restored is to be taken to a pool with Kronus rock around it, so he asks Hercules to help. Hercules, being his clumsy self, drops the statue and it shatters on the ground. Hades sobs pathetically and beats up Hercules while Pain and Panic help to restore Hera. Hera, restored but still mortal, comes in just in time to save Hercules and is welcomed by a huge hug from Hades.
