| Hepzibah Kousbroek |
| Hepzibah works from home as a free lance translator. One of the project she enjoyed most during the past few years was translating the painter Corneille's poems from French into Dutch and English. More recently, she completed the translation into English of a very extensive monograph about the Dutch composer of electronic music Dick Raaymakers. Justin Bennett, a British composer who has been living in Holland for many years, provided help and advice for this mega-project, which was fascinating work and an absolute high point in her professional career. She also works as a translator for design studio Ontwerpwerk , for H&M fashion stores, for the Royal Theater of The Hague and since 2007 as an on-call receptionist at the Bernard van Leer Foundation, a charity that funds projects in early childhood development and children's rights. In october 2004, she wrote and published a book about Hepatitis C and the new Pegasys treatment. |
