Henninger's Clocks
I'm a hobbyist who enjoys repairing mechanical clocks and building the cabinets in which they are housed.

The area in which I live, North Central Pennsylvania, is blessed with an abundance of hardwood lumber. There are many small logging operations and local sawmills in the area.  It is relatively easy to obtain high quality cherry, maple and oak lumber.

I enjoy starting with the rough lumber and producing a finished clock. Of course a carefully constructed wooden case deserves a high quality brass movement. So, except in small mantle clocks, I try to avoid quartz movements.

I've worked with mechanical movements for a number of years and have become proficient in most of the standard repair procedures.

On the accompanying pages, I've collected photographs of several clocks I've built, to see some of them click

If you are interested in having a quality clock built, contact me at my email address on your left. I've worked from detailed plans, pictures in a magazine and just a rough sketch.
