This is a hint/walkthrough file for the Chinese adult anime game 
"Yumemizaka" (YUMEMI, Yumemisaka) from Tan Ton Nerw. This is NOT 
the same game as "Yume (Fairy of Dream)".

Thanks to Li Sun: This game is a story about the adventures of a 
pizza delivery guy. He meets and have fun with his female 
customers and friends. His store advertising campaign brings him 
to a house of three sisters. There he is treated to some 
interesting stuff...

said they have a translated (English?) version of this game for 
download (6338K). Listed requirements are: 486 class or better 
CPU, 8 MB RAM, 10 MB HD space, Sound Blaster or 100% compatible.
I can't guarantee if it is still available there, or how good the 
translation is.

No special language display software (DOSJ, NJWIN) needed for 
this one. I didn't have to run any setup software either, besides 
installing the game into its own directory. Game is about 6 MB 
Zipped, almost 10 MB uncompressed. You should have a mouse, but 
keyboard works too. No problems with automatic detection of a 
SoundBlaster compatible. No problems with running under Windows 
95, EXCEPT that I couldn't get DOS windows to start up after 
leaving the game, and sometimes the machine locked up - so be 
careful! Graphics look like VGA 640*480 256 colors, or maybe 16. 
Appears to need no EMS or XMS memory.

Looks like a present-day setting. Everybody gets laid, even the 
old geezer butler, except for the guy who owns the pizza shop!
This one is abbreviated (to fit into 8 characters for a DOS 
filename) as YUMEMI in several game files, so that's what I'm 
using here.
Like other Tan Ton Nerw games, uses the "pick the correct colors" 
copy protection, which was cracked on my copy. Use any 3 numbers 
from 1 to 8 to pass it.
The "translated" version that I got seems to only have English on 
the character names, and only for Chapter 1.

Main menu:
1. Start new game
2. Load one of 6 saved games
3. See all scenes so far (based on file SYSTEM.DAT)
4. Exit game (No/Yes)

While playing, you can press and hold down the space bar to speed 
up text display, but it will automatically pick the top option 
when you have a choice (which is usually OK). Left click or press 
the space bar to advance the text. Right click to bring up a 
system menu:
1. Load game (1 of 6 slots, then Yes/Cancel)
2. Save game (1 of 6 slots, then Yes/Cancel)
3. ?Unknown 2-choice option?
4. Turn music OFF/ON
5. Exit game immediately

You can go through most of the game with choosing the top option 
when you have a choice, until you notice you're stuck in a loop. 
This will happen either at a location with nobody, or when in a 
sex scene.
Just pick the second choice until it starts looping, then the 
third, etc. Sometimes you have to go through all of them before a 
new choice will appear, or the game moves on.

The game is divided into Chapters, there are at least 4. A lot of 
Chapter 3 revolves around the girls in the big house, some of 
whom have butterfly tatoos (?) that appear on their backs during 
sex. Beats me...
Chapter 4 is really short, except you have to sit through the 
credits.

The photoshop is based on the contents of the file SYSTEM.DAT. 
Set the appropriate byte in SYSTEM.DAT to $01, and a particular 
picture will appear in the photoshop sequence. Normally, I'd just 
tell you to set ALL the bytes in SYSTEM.DAT to $01, but that 
causes a minor glitch in the photoshop - nothing major, just an 
error message. So, to avoid it, set all the bytes EXCEPT $04 
(counting the first byte in the file as $00) to $01. My run 
through the game got me almost everything anyway, except for 2 
pictures I didn't see when playing. Annoyingly, none of the 
"overlay" pictures (person appears at location) are in the 
photoshop, and neither is one quick shot of a cat screwing a pig 
(!?) on top of a wall in a common street scene.

This game is surprisingly simple to play, has a lot of sex 
scenes, and the graphics are pretty good. Annoying music, bad 
implementation of the photoshop. This one took about 3 hours to 
play through once, and 10 minutes to hack the photoshop - most of 
which was waiting for the game to start up again.
