This is a hint/cheat file for the "Timestripper" or "Time Stripper 
Mako" (TSMAKO, TS_MAKO) adult anime game from Foster (the Japanese 
original), with English/French/German version from Otaku. I played the 
English version.

The game was available from Otaku or other resellers as part of the 
Bishojo Manga series, #4 (OTK 10104), on one CD-ROM. There is 234 MB
on the CD, a lot of it voice data in Japanese, lots of .WAV format 
samples stored in the WAV file. System requirements are trivial for 
a current PC: Windows 3.1 or 9x, 486/33 CPU, 8+ MB RAM, 256 color 
graphics, 2x CD-ROM, sound. Although the game warns that 16-bit or 
higher graphics will display slower, on my Matrox Mystique the 
game skipped the "venetian blind" effects when characters appeared, 
and so ran noticeably faster when I was trying to play quickly.

No censorship on the graphics!
No really objectionable activities either: one mild bondage incident, 
with a temporary sex change (strange how her dick just goes to a point 
though), and one scene where a girl asks you to put a dog collar on 
her and you let her pee like a dog.

It plays as a rather simple multiple-choice text adventure. If you 
click quickly, you can run through the game in less than 15 minutes, 
with the major delay being the sound effects and the frequent "SAVE / 
DON'T SAVE" choices. The best parts of the game are that the story 
moves along rather quickly, all of the dialogue is spoken in Japanese, 
and that there are a lot of mandatory and optional sex scenes. Bad 
points are that you have to wait for the sound effects to finish 
before you can go on to the next screen (right click works on the 
dialogue, or you can turn it off), and that you can only save the game 
at designated points in the story. You may want to keep the dialogue 
on just to hear the various girls moaning in ecstasy, or to figure out 
how to say "fuck me" in Japanese. There is a decent Windows Help file 
included with the game. Some of the English text is British rather 
than American but it's not really annoying.

One easy way to exit the game (and it will remember what pictures 
you've seen even if you don't save) is to press Alt-F4, or start with 
Alt-space to bring up the window menu first.

You'll notice the "CG Gallery" option on the main menu. That's the 
photoshop in this game, and it will show all the "significant" 
pictures you've ever seen while playing the game, H or not. It isn't 
ALL the images, for instance no shot of Mako topless in your room 
before she realizes her clothes didn't arrive on her. The file that 
controls the Gallery is "MO", and there are files out there that you 
can load that have all images (100%) visible, so I won't include 
instructions on how to patch the file here. If you can't find the 
saved game archive out there, I would GUESS that you can just change 
the contents of MO. Looks like the bytes from $64 to $9C should all 
be $01 instead of $00 to turn on all the pictures. That's just from 
comparing my MO file and an "all pictures on" MO file, so don't 
blame me if it doesn't work for you.

In case you're interested, all the text for the game is in the 
"ZSS*" files, where the last letter is "E" for English, etc. They 
differ a bit in order, but its all there someplace.

There are at least 5 endings to the game:
1. Shinji gets Michiyo back, but she's now insatiable. Mako and 
   Nonn are back in the future.
2. Shinji is seeing Kaori, and Mako and Nonn are now feuding TV 
   personalities stuck in the present.
3. Shinji chooses Nonn over Mako, but both are living with him.
4. Shinji chooses Mako over Nonn, but both are living with him.
5. Shinji somehow gets Emi (haven't seen this one)
I can't find any others, but let me know if you find some!

Apparently what controls the endings is some, but not all, of the 
choices you make.


The following was sent to me by "Shuji Yamagami" (you may recognize 
that name from another game), and hasn't been verified by me:

Choices 1 to 11 are the same for Michiyo, Emi, Kaori, and Nonn 
endings.  Save and reload at Choice 12.

There are multiple ways to get the same ending. Below is a list of 
steps verified (by Shuji only) to get each ending in the game.

Michiyo ending:
1. Do I try and talk my way out of this?
2. Hey... I'm a man... I'll give it my best shot.
3. Talk to him about it at work tonight.
4. Play it cool and go home?
5. Wait at the house.
6. Let her do it.
7. Go back to the bar and change.
8. Well, too late now.  Just go with the flow.
9. See what's happening in the Festival Office.
10. Go to the changing rooms
11. Go to the library
12. She's scared to death.  Give her a pep talk.
13. What the hell is she talking about?
14. The Festival Office.
15. Go straight to the Festival Office.
16. Tell her it's nothing to do with her.

Emi ending:
1-11. (See Michiyo ending)
12. She's scared to death.  Give her a pep talk.
13. Yeah, you can keep a secret.
14. The Festival Office.
15. Go straight to the Festival Office.
16. Tell her about the cheque.

Kaori ending:
1-11. (See Michiyo ending)
12. She's being stupid.  Get tough.
13. Yeah!  Good idea.
14. The Festival Office.
15. Go straight to the Festival Office.
16. No, I don't think I can do something like that.

Nonn ending:
1-11. (See Michiyo ending)
12. She's being stupid.  Get tough.

Mako ending:
1. Do I come clean?
2. Give me a break, Kyoko, I'm not a total stud.

7. Forget it.  Go back tomorrow.
8. After what's happened, you're not in the mood.
9. Go and find Michiyo at the library.

if they like knowing the story for the pictures.


Aside from wishing there were more sexy sound effects (PLISH!), 
I will heartily recommend this game. Although I also wish the 
dialogue choices made more sense; it's annoying to have the game do 
almost exactly the opposite of what you choose in several cases, or it 
doesn't make a difference which you choose.
