This is a hint/walkthrough file for the Japanese Windows adult anime 
game "Pet", from Pumpie. It was distributed as one 2.4 Mb ZIP file, 
which contains a 2.6 Mb PET.EXE file. Run this to install the game 
to a directory of your choice. The game needs 2.8 Mb of disk space 
when installed. Run UNSTAL.EXE to uninstall the game.

I have no photoshop saved game, help file, or description from Li Sun.

Looks like a present-day Japanese setting.

Game requires NJWIN or equivalent to display Japanese characters in 
Windows, and a mouse.
Uses 640*400 (maximum) 16-color graphics from .MAG files. Sound is 
from .WAV files, and music from .MID files. The MIDI files cannot be 
run outside this game (at least they won't run in my WinAmp).

PET.EXE runs the game. No apparent way to speed up text display.
On the title screen, the top right corner starts a new game with a 
long introduction, the one below that resumes the saved 0.SAV game 
(stored in C:\PETSAVE).
While playing, click on the PC to Save/Load in slots 1 through 5. The 
two buttons below that will:
1. let you change 16 names/words/phrases to your choice (the second 
   one is apparently your name in this game).
2. immediately exit the game (saves in 0.SAV).

The icons for the commands used by the game should be pretty 
obvious. There are a very limited number of locations in the game;
they are much easier to see on the map at night.

If you get only 2 lines of white text back when you try to talk to 
people, try going to the Sushi Bar and buying food (the middle right 
button), then try again. You may need to eat several times; it seems 
to last for only an hour each. If you get only 1 line of white text, 
you may need to get a hair styling.
You make 5000 by pressing the "dig" button at the construction site,
but have to talk to the construction girl first, and get up early in 
the morning (go to sleep at 9:00 pm).
If you don't have sex with 3 girls by 8:00 pm on day 7, the guy in 
the loud shirt puts you in jail - bad ending.
You need 3800 cash to go to the love hotel with a girl. If you don't 
have it, the first one will go to your room instead, after that you 
get no nooky until you make more money.

The sex scenes make you move a mouse pointer around her body until it 
turns into various "tools". Watch the little display up in the 
corner. You want to keep the level up above the midpoint, possibly 
even make it go through the top before it reaches the right end.
Either you need to do really well at this stuff, or you need to have 
7800 on the way in, to "go all the way". I never did...

The girls look pretty young in this one, but it might just be the 
way they're drawn.

If you have the Susie graphics viewer or another .MAG file viewer, 
you can see the graphics for this game. They're all in the DATA 
sub-directory under the main directory where you installed the game.
MAG graphics capability in Susie comes with the "basic" plug-ins 
for Susie.

Didn't find a photoshop in this one, but I didn't actually finish it, 
so I don't know if there is one. Since you can view all the graphics 
with a readily available viewer (which you can go find yourself!), 
I'll call this one solved.
