We were only in Brisbane for 3 days and it rained for two and a half of them. Despite the downpours we went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where Julie cuddled her first koala. Did you know baby koalas eat pellets of their mothers feces in order to digest eucalyptus leaves later in life? We're full of odd information. Much to our amusement were also able to feed wallabees and kangaroos from our hands, view some of them having sex (we've spared you the visual) and watch a "joey" try to come out of its moms pouch. |
