Join the club, I think I'm tone deaf, but I love music. Get a Midi Editor/Sequencer (from Harmony Central MIDI Resources), and modify an existing midi file. Do this only with public domain midi files! This is also a good way to cut a big midi file down to size. Grab a P.D. midi file, change the voices, adjust the tempo and volume, until you like the results. For a big file, do an "unplugged" version, and cut out tracks containing instruments that you think might be uneccesary, this will cut the file down to size, as well as pesonalising a midi song.
