Sorry it took a little longer than I would've liked, but I was simply tired from all that traveling over the summer. Jennifer, Ashley and I drove up to Vancouver for the weekend, and we took a walking tour of the city on the first day. The next day, we took a ferry to Victoria, did another walking tour and had dinner in an upscale restaurant once we returned to Vancouver. And last night, it was back to Seattle. Ashley's back in school, and she tells me she's enjoying eighth grade. She's already dreaming about driving one day, which doesn't surprise me one bit, since I've taken her all over North America for most of her 13 years. She even told me once that she's hoping to do a roads site of her own, and I promised her that I'd help her with it whenever she's ready. This'll be our last roadtrip for a while, but you can always read up on all of our summer adventures on the road in this blog. Newlyweds Jeff and Alicia may be coming to Seattle this Thanksgiving, and we're planning to do another Chicago Christmas trip this year. I can hardly wait...But I'll be back with more new adventures that you can read about in 2008 and beyond! See you on the road!
