steven biko was one of the leading people of south-africa in the struggle for freedom against the apartheid-regime.

steven biko has said : that the most important weapon in the hands of the oppressors are the oppressed persons mind.

he was murdered by the south-african police on 12. september 1977 in prisoncelle 619.

5 policemen have confessed that they murdered steven biko. in 1997 they signed a confession and ask for amnesty by the truth-comission
