general franco moved forward with his fascist rebellion-army. he got help from both germany and italy.

from every corner of the earth volunteeres began coming to spain, to help the democratic government against franco.

also from denmark in particular left-wing people went to spain. to defend yhe democraty and the civil rights.

the international brigade won big victories. the spanish government and the volunteers fought bravely against the fascist franco-army.

but the fascist were to strong. the war ended in march 1939, with the fascist leader general francos victory.

after that victory it was to exspect that franco, mussolini and hitler, where encouraged to start looking around for - lebensraum - . at first they began with polen and austrich.
