the movie - mississippi burning :

the movie is about three civil rights people in the south states, who disappears, under a camapagne trying to get the black people to vote.

the movie is based on authentic events in mississippi in 1964.

two FBI-agents, also with thweir prejudices, is set on the case. it turns out that the three (two white and a coloured), has been murdered very bestial, by the local ku klux klan.

surpression of the coloured in the south states has been happening for so long and so effectiv, that noone dares to rebel, and that any rebellion, is crushed at once, and with a violantness, that comes out of dayly habbit.

this incident has become a symbol, on a long row of crimes, committed against black people. that first martin luther kings struggle, got changed.

another good and critical movie by the good filminstructor alan parker.
