peoples bascical rights all over the world.
amnesty is watching over the many dictatorships and
bad democraties all over the world. they help
and cooperate with human rights fighters and
political dissidents in undemocratic countries.
even rhe countries in EU, do not always respect
human rights. a number of countries in EU is named
in amnestys year-report, where there is an overview
over violations of human rights all over the world.
for instans senmark is mentioned there in 2003,
because our democraty, not always live up to,
its high ideals.
basical every human being is unique, and has a
right to dignity. you cannot just treat some people
as second rate people. or expose them to humiliating
or degrading treatment.
unfortunately there is still happening a grreat deal
of torture, around in the world. and it seems to have
developt new forms, that are difficult to prove.
also miscarriage of justice is inevitabke, even though
it seldom occurs in real democratics countries.
death-penalty, isolation-imprisonment, medical crimes,
political psychiatry, political imprisonment,
Gulag-like camps are other areas, that occupies
amnesty.
one could continue to mention subjects,
that amnesty i occupied with.
as a reward for their great work,
amnesty got the nobelpeaceprize in 1977.
