africa - kenya - arap moi-s corrupt regime 1978 - 2002

since 1978 the big african country, kenya, has been leed by the corrupt president arap moi.

police brutallity, torture, corrupt courts, murder, robbery and ethnic cleansing have been a dayly part of arap mois regime.

at last in 2002 one got rid of him, and the opposition-leaders could take over the presidency, and start a true democratic and corrupt-free kenya.

political groups, unions and human rights fighters exspects new times, after the oppostion has gain power.

one of them, the politician koigi wa wamvere has been sitting in jail for 13 years, for being against arap moi. in 1990 he gave a promise not to cut his hair until moi was out of politic. first in 2002 he could let his famous rasta-plaitings fall. and take his place in the kenyan parlament, as an elected member.

now kenya shall fight to get out of the debt-burdon. and get som decent prices for their raw-materials, coffee, sugar and cotton.
