Spring break - Spongerama/wetarama!
Okay, so has it really been since January? I guess all my moments are spent on Facebook these days. So, to update... My first day of Spring break was spent in Tarpon Springs, a place I had never visited and I always wanted to see those sponges! We took a ride on the Spongerama boat cruise and went out to sea. We were not warned that besides sight seeing the dolphins and shrimp trawlers left abandoned, we would have a captain that liked to put on the speed in choppy water! There was no safe place to escape the wind, water and waves as they continually washed over you. The boat was out of paper towels, toilet paper and no protection, as its hard to lower the window shades while in gear. The nice mate did show up with a squeegee, and some blankets and a wad of paper towels after the fact, but unfortunately, some elderly folks spent the rest of the trip wrapped in blankets, and I went on an airplane with salt soaked clothing and hair. It was not easy washing off the face, but I figured it was good adventure.

Anyway, the rest of the week went well, I visited grandkids, saw bluebonnets and had a wonderful several days of sunshine, thrift stores and shopping at the Little Dutch Girl.

Now, I figure I have some 60 days before the end of school year.

This week, I am bring art work to an exhibit, and hoping to get an appointment at the Immigration service and see whats up with my passport!
