Spring break in Houston

I spent Spring break visiting Ali in Houston. We had a great time. The plane over was delayed a few hours, so I got a chance to catch up on my reading. While there we visited my favorite store, the Little Dutch Girl and bought some yummy jam at the Amish Barn. Since I was flying back, I left the jam. I knew I couldn't put it in carry on, and didn't want to take chances in my luggage. I am sure it will still be there when I visit in June. If it isn't, then I will just buy another one. Ali might like the flavor.
Now I am catching up on blogs, since I am not very regular. Also watching 24, which just doesn't hold my attention this season like usually. Past seasons have been better.
I had a really busy week last week at school. I had to finish my eagle for the Air and Sea show, so I could deliver it. Also had an art show at school on Thursday, so I spent the week framing pictures and making labels and sorting out kids work. Monday was book club, Tuesday a couple hours to Ft. Lauderdale and back, Wed. I skipped choir to finish framing, Thursday was half day, so I spent the day setting up for the art show, then I came back at 5 for the Spring Fling/Art show. I had kids face painting and parents visiting til 8 pm. Busy night, but we got 50. in donations for face painting and some lady bought our crown for 60. She has to pay yet, so I guess I will call her tomorrow.
