Thoughts from your favorite blonde...
Thursday party night
I had a chance to see some professional face painters in action Thursday night. I only had to drive to Ft. Lauderdale to the Silly Farm Holiday bash. They had some renowned painters there, the Wolfe brothers (as in Wolfe Brothers face paint), Gary of Snazaroo, and some other wonderful artists that I did not recognize.

It was fun watching them in action, lots of people took photos of the finished faces, and there were arepas, burgers, snacks and good libations.

One man (quite good looking, tall, dark hair, handsome - and probably 20 years younger than me) wanted to paint my face, but there weren't any available seats. He was rather flirty, even reaching over my shoulders to take photos of the belly painting on a very preggers girl. It was kind of crowded. The painting on her tummy was astounding - a little baby floating. The artist used the woman's outie belly button for the elbow of the baby.

The there was the full body (more or less) painting on the girl in the bikini. They finished her to look like a pirate with a ripped shirt, with sunset on the front and Captain Jack on the back. It took about three hours.

There was a performer playing with fire, and a really great Santa with real beard.

Unfortunately, I had to work the next morning, and not looking forward to the hour's drive, I left a little after nine, never finding out the identity of the mystery man.

How hard was it to say, "hi, I'm Henny. And you are?" And he had such a lovely accent too. Oh well, I really need to find someone mature and literary, and not just go for the pitter pat of my heart.

No, if he didn't introduce himself than it wasn't meant to be. Besides you need to stay away from those playas, they only want one thing. Patience.
