Ron Paul and the Gun show

We had a table for Ron Paul information at the Gun show at the Fairgrounds, so I helped volunteer and pass out literature. Since I live nearby, about 10:30 I ran back home to fetch my lifesize manikin (so she could wear a shirt that said "Ron Paul's idea of gun control is to use two hands) and some donuts and water bottles.
I still have donuts left over. I think they will go to church tomorrow.
It was a fun crowd. Lots of people stopped to talk and took literature, and we sold various shirts and yard signs. Some of the group were NRA, so I got some suggestions as to what kind of fire arm I should get, as well as some ideas of which shooting range is near by. I talked to NRA people, ATF people and saw some nice jewelry too. It wasn't all guns. In fact some of the tables were similar to what you find at a garage sale.
I bought a $4.oo hot dog, but it was one fourth of a pound all beef hot dog. It stuck out of the bun at both sides.
We had good conversations on why JFK was killed (he was going to do away with the Federal Reserve) and why we need to abolish the income tax. Okay with me.
I also saw lots of guns, including some biggies that no one in their right mind would need, unless we are being invaded by the Islamo-fascists taking over our homes. Or if you are doing a scene on 24. There were even some nice handguns with pink handles. I think they were 22's. But I don't know if I will get a gun anytime soon. They are very expensive. Or at least if you buy them at a gun show.
Be back tomorrow after church for more fun. The people watching was great too!
