Yardwork
So far, the weather has been pretty warm in the middle of the day. Today was Ali's birthday, so after the midwife appt. and having lunch at the mall, Ali decided to celebrate her birthday by ordering three pallets of sod and watching her husband sweat and lug chunks of sod to the wheelbarrow and to the back yard. Of course, he had help. Ali lugged a few to arrange them easily for the wheelbarrow and I helped heft them in the wheelbarrow as well as on the ground. It was hot, the kids played in the back, Ali took breaks and secretly hoped the effort would speed up the birth. I took breaks as well, and by the time we were finished, we were all tired, cranky, sweaty and dirty. But we were done before the sun was low. If the extra effort results in the birth sooner, I will let you know.
