I got the low down on the bat thing. The Trapper John guy said that because my roof is structured the way it is, they can't do anything for me. I need to call a roofer and have them put a tarp or some kind of netting to let the bats out at night and then they can't get back in. After that I need the roofer guys to come back and seal off the openings. Of course, I then also need to have the neighbors do the same, or the bats will move in with them. I guess if all that transpires, the bats will relocate, and I can finish the screening and clean up. It would be nice to enjoy my porches without worrying about bats getting in and getting trapped or flying around at night. I know they are environmentally good at catching mosquitos and bugs, but the novelty has worn off and bat crap stinks! And I probably have as many bats as you see in the photo.
