Life as I live it - March 24, 2007

Lady Jane just gives me a look when its time to eat or take a walk. She is my constant companion. Its nice to have a pet if you live alone. She is also a good watchdog because she barks like crazy if someone comes to the door, and will follow you when you are ready to leave, especially if it looks like you have something with you.
She gets along well with the cats, and I think that CoCo likes to tease her by running away when she is near, thus causing Jane to take off after her to see why she is running. Angie is older and wiser and pretty much ignores Jane, acting like she is beneath her dignity to give the appearance of notice. Everyone likes to take turns sleeping on my bed.
I seriously thought about getting another pug again today, but remembered that I would then be traveling with two dogs again when I visit Tampa, or would need someone to watch two dogs instead of one, when I visit other places that require plane travel or longer times.
I visited a possible dog sitter today. She owns four pugs, and I think Jane would fit in just fine, except for the little black pug who was more aggressive. Jane would not take that sitting down, so it might be too much. I think that my sister will take Jane again for the week, and I will find other arrangements for this summer.
Ali will be having the third child in June, and I plan to be there for at least a week. Hopefully, we can schedule the flight before the actual event. Sometimes with the third, schedules don't apply. Timing is everything.
