Nazeer Henna is pure Egyptian Henna and is of a quality I have found impossible to find in Australia, as most of the locally available product appears to be from India or Iran and is not as superior a product.

Henna is derived from Lawsonia inermis. This plant is a small shrub containing Lawsone, which produces a natural dye. The crushed stem, root and leaves are used for the colours that are blended at Nazeer Henna.

Nazeer Henna contains no additives or ingredients, no chemicals, no names or numbers that are difficult to decipher - just Henna.

Each batch of Nazeer Henna is tested on human hair - not animals, it contains no animal ingredients, has not and does not undergo any animal testing, is accredited by Choose Cruelty Free and appears in their list of clean products. Nazeer Henna is tested on human hair to ensure the quality is consistent, with many brands you will find the variation in colour leaves a lot to be desired, this does not happen with Nazeer Henna and the quality is guaranteed.

Nazeer Henna is packaged and blended in Australia with the environment in mind, using distinctive unbleached calico bags; vegetable dyes where possible for printing and recycled paper. Nazeer Henna offers an alternative to chemical colour tints, which are controversial due to health considerations, not to mention chemical pollutants entering our water systems, harming marine life and the environment. In these enlightened times with the well founded fears with regard to chemical overuse and consequent allergic reactions that both we and our planet have to these substances, we will more often than not, if given a choice, choose the natural alternative if the result is as good as its chemical counterpart.

Nazeer Henna helps condition dull, fine hair and generally adds body and texture. Henna helps in the repair of damaged hair, brightens, highlights and accentuates hair colour; it also helps control scalp oiliness and adds a wonderful shine. Nazeer Henna is a conditioner - it plates each strand of hair with colour, the cuticle is smoothed by its sealing action giving the hair a polished look. The cuticle is tight and flattened; the hair is protected from atmospheric conditions such as sun and air pollution. Nazeer Henna has no color lifting action, so the chosen colour will depend on the hair colour, natural or tinted.

Nazeer Henna is chemical free; it is safe to use over tints and perms. The colour will gradually fade over a period of 8 to 9 weeks. If there is more than 20% grey in the hair, or you are not sure of the colour, a strand test is an option. All packs contain usage instructions.

There need be not wastage, if too much powder is mixed, it should be allowed to dry out, it can be reconstituted by adding boiling water and more fresh powder if needed.
