| S6.4 Promotes safe and healthy use of technology resources. Teachers are aware of Standards in regards to the curriculum. This MSITC program has provided education on NETS. The National Education Technology Standards addresses student and teacher needs in regards to technology. Standard 2, social, ethical, and human issues (ISTE NETS Project, 2000-2004), relates directly to the fulfillment of Walden Standard 6.4 . Having the students research and create projects on Standard 2 brought technology safety into the curriculum. Sharing this project with the Media Center for display will help reach a larger audience for education. Reference ISTE NETS Project.
