| S5.2 Continually evaluates and reflects on professional practice to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of student learning. Most of our evidence in our portfolios comes in the form of a long and detailed Application paper. For the fulfillment of Standard 5.2, I feel that the reflection required in week one discussion of Technology, Leadership, and a Vision for the Future is a good example of the continuous evaluation and thought that a Walden Scholar-Practitioner engages in. Taking the time to reflect and discuss with the cohort a challenge encountered in the classroom enabled all of us to use our learning from this program to offer ideas and encouragement to each other. As a Walden Scholar-Practitioner this should be a natural process now and in the future. |
