| S4.3 Applies multiple methods of evaluation to determine students appropriate use of technology resources for learning, communication, and productivity. In each week of Integrating Technology into the Curriculum we focused on a different form of Internet interaction. We were introduced to Internet Workshops, WebQuests, and different needs to be addressed on our web sites. Each of these assignments created technologically enhanced lessons to engage the students. The tool Filimentality was probably one of the most valuable resources brought to my attention in this program. At the end of this course I was able to reflect on the advantages of using these many forms of teaching with technology. The result of this was the creation of a few more Filimentality links for student use. I used these in a lab format with the class working individually, yet able to collaborate. The result fulfills Standard 4.3. Evaluation by an assessment is not the only way to measure learning. Completion of assignments and student interaction are both valuable methods to gauge learning.or learning, communication, and productivity. |
