S3.3 - Applies technology to develop students high-order skills and creativity.

Integrating ttechnology into a lesson can facilitate learning and encourage higher-levels of thinking (George Lucas Educational Foundation. 2003). I believe that the hypothetical activity created in week six application of New Technologoes #6661 fulfills this program outcome.
Using the World Wide Web to research projects is a valuable tool for learning. In this project created for my students, they not only had to use the internet, but were exposed to outsides resources as well. Analyzing the multitudes of information gathered, the students had to create a presentation to justify their decisions. This brings the lesson to a higher-level of thinking as defined in Blooms taxonomy (Huitt, W., 2004). In this project, the students were expected to do more than just learn and remember information for a test. They were responsible for their own learning and had to assess information to create a technology presentation for their peers.
