| Outcome G3.1: Will be able to implement curriculum plans to facilitate standards-based learning. Using the many applications that we learned throughout this MSITC program enables us to write lessons to teach the curriculum that use many different strategies and styles. One of these lessons was created in Habits of Mind: Thinking Skills to Promote Self-Directed Learning. The lesson created in week 3 of this course utilized a technology enhanced, hands-on approach to teach the Data Analysis Standard required by the state. Along with the fulfilling the state requirement of teaching data analysis, probability, and discrete mathematics, this lesson is infused with technology skills. These are valuable tools that the students will need to function in today�s technologically advanced world. In this lesson the students will have to read, understand, and create several displays to show understanding of the concept. |
