The Walden course Exploring New Technologies: The Impact on Society opened the doors to the basic skills needed to make full use of the Internet. Multimedia Tools continued study into the many different tools available to a teacher on the Internet and with the use of technology. In week four of #6662 we used the different design concepts previously learned to create our own PowerPoint presentations. The readings and video in this week clarified some important elements of good presentations. Using appropriate designs on media presentations to meet the needs of a very diverse group of learners fulfills Outcome G2.1. Addressing more than just the content of a lesson and creating engaging, thorough lessons using tools such as PowerPoint reaches beyond the pages of the textbooks. |
