I was born and raised in South Jersey and have lived here my whole life (44 years). After attaining my teaching certificate in 1987, I joined the ranks of Buena Regional High School in the Math department. Seeing many students pass through the halls of Buena, I have wonderful memories of my time as a class advisor and teacher.
In the year 2000 my hometown of Hammonton built a new high school. I took this opportunity to give back to my community as a teacher and am now a high school math teacher in Hammonton High School.
My family and I have many connections to the community. My husband and I are both Hammonton graduates and both of our boys are students in the Hammonton School District. We are all active in the community in various aspects.
Some of my favorite things to do are travel, craft, garden, and read. Along these lines, I not only teach craft classes and participate in craft fairs, but I have started a craft club in the high school for the students. This is very rewarding, seeing the students learn a life skill of relaxing, social activity, and just plain fun.
My plans are to see every state in this beautiful United States with my family. We have gone as far east as Iowa, as north as Maine, and south to Florida (every year). It is a pleasure to see our country in all its glory.
