We drove to Disney World. My parents were kind enough to let us take their CRV, which was much nicer for the long drive.
We were able to stop and stay in Atlanta with Christa and Dave on the way down. We also got to stop and meet them for dinner on our way back north.
We only did a little bit of shopping. We got Kayla some candy. She loves princess candy. We also bought her a tutu. She had to have it. She asked for it in the first store and we resisted. But it was in the second store and she really seemed to want it, so we gave in. Yes, we are weak, but that's why we saved up money for this vacation. We wanted to buy our princess whatever she wanted.
Having dome a little shopping, we realized that we were hungry. So, we moved the CRV from the Marketplace parking lot to the West Side parking lot. There, we put our name on the list to eat at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe. After a short wait, our name was called and we got to eat.
We had a great day at the Magic Kingdom. We saw a performance on Main Street. We watched the Dream Along with Mickey Show at Cinderella's Castle. We rode some of the rides. We ate a character lunch at the Crystal Palace. While we were enjoying our lunch, Pooh and Piglet came to our table for pictures.
After lunch, we rode some more rides. We played at Mickey's Toontown Fair and at Pooh's Playful Spot. We went to a special story time at Exposition Hall on Main Street. The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella read us a story and then posed for a picture with Kayla.
After the park closed, we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We went to two character dances. We also saw the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and the Happy Hallowishes fireworks. We saw a villian show at the castle. And we rode a few rides.
But we were exhausted, so we headed back to Pop Century.
