Christmas, 2006
On Saturday, December 23rd, we celebrated Christmas with Grandma H., Lucas, Kayla, Valona, Heather, Paul, and Jeramie at Grandma's house.
Before dinner, we looked at pictures from our recent trip to Disney World. We also got to visit with our family for a bit.
Grandma had made a wonderful dinner that we all enjoyed together. We ate pasta, meatballs, and soup. It was all very good.
After dinner, we exchanged gifts. Kayla got lots of wonderful toys. She really enjoyed her baby doll and her drawing toys.
Kayla especially enjoyed playing with Uncle Jeramie. She had him help her take all of her gifts out of their boxes. I think they both had fun playing with her new toys.

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa C., Josh, and Becky. We were all at Grandma's house.
Christmas Eve was a Sunday and Sunday means football. So we watched a bit of the Bengals game. Before dinner, on commercial breaks, we each opened two presents.
When the game was almost over, it was time to eat. Mommy and Daddy had prepared a wonderful meal of ham, apples, potatoes, carrots, corn, and pies. Everything was delicious.
When everyone's tummy was filled, we headed back to the family room to open our gifts. Kayla got more wonderful gifts. She got a princess doll, a princess doll house, a bouncing Tigger, and doll furniture. She helped everyone else open their presents too. It was a lot of fun.

On Christmas Day, we went to Lucas and Kayla's apartment where we celebrated with Lucas, Kayla, Valona, Jeramie, Shelley, Grandpa H., and John.
We enjoyed a light lunch of sandwiches. Following our meal, we exchanged gifts.
Kayla loved the Little People Barn that she got from her Uncle Jeramie and Aunt Shelley.
We celebrated Christmas together when we got back to Sheboygan the day after Christmas. Kayla was excited to see that there were still more presents for her to open from Santa and from Mommy and Daddy.
Kayla wasted no time and started ripping wrapping off the gifts as soon as her jacket and shoes were off. She was not disappointed in the gifts that were waiting for her.
Santa brought Kayla puzzles, a train, and a Belle doll. Mommy and Daddy gave her books, stacking toys, a car mat, and princess candy.
It was a great Christmas. We look forward to next year.
