needed to replace the brushes on my first bike after only 571 miles on the motor [1600 total thus far for the bike on electric power] the brushes were worn down to 4 mm on the neg and 1 mm on the positve

I am just starting a conversion of my 97' Harley Lowrider to electric. I too plan on using a dual perm-magnet motor setup, so I was interested to find your site this morning.
How are you planning to wire the motors, in series with one controller, or parallel with two controllers?
