my first bike has been doing good i've put 900 miles on it.  it uses about 160 watts per mile which is about 6.25 miles per kw and a kw is 6.7 cents so the bike uses about penny per mile.  plus i charge at home with wind power so the bike is zero emission.  1000 miles of gas for my car [25 mpg@ $3.15 gal] = $125,  1000 miles of electric = $10.  another 1000 miles and the batteries might be paid off and another 10,000 miles might pay for the bike.

turning up the controller i'm able to move well and have a top speed of 45 mph.  i've added some fans to cool the motor.

however i just got a small rock in the motor and its a bit shreaded.  the next motor will have a screen around for protection
