while i wait on the charger, i'll start putting together the transmistion. as noted eariler in the blog i need to reverse the direction of the motor, so i tought as long as i was putting in a jack shaft to fix the motor i might as well experiement with a CVT [continues varible transmition] . i was not planning on using any thing 'fancy' with my first bike, but hey half the work was done already. plus i will get some good data and experince for my next bike. the nice thing about a torque converter is that i can adjust the gears so that the bike can reach highway speeds, while still being able to get good acceleration at low speeds.
