Yahoo Group Information
The Service Unit will begin using a Yahoo Group for communication.  A Yahoo Group requires members to join and be accepted by the moderator (Sherri).  It will allow any member to post messages to the entire group and those messages will be saved for future reference.  The messages are sent to your email address.  You can edit your preferences on Yahoo groups for your desired frequency of message delivery.  For example, you can select to receive a weekly digest of all messages posted during the week instead of individual emails. 

The use of Yahoo Groups will allow us to post confidential files for everyone's access, like contact lists, locations & times for events, and pictures.  We can't publish this type of information on the web site due to security. 

Yahoo Groups are free, so if your troop is web saavy, why not start a group for your troop?
