It is with a heavy heart that I bring the sad news of the loss of our bassist and cherished friend Curt Stannard. Though he received praise for his musical ability all his life, he spoke often of how good it felt to be embraced by you, the Rush fans, and to be accepted and appreciated at that level has always been an honor for all of us. On Curt's behalf, Mike and I would like to thank all of you for your support and encouragement over the last few years.
Curt was in many ways the heart of Hemispheres, and his attitude and sense of humor made even the toughest practices and longest road trips fun. His musical contributions to the project were countless and often took us in unexpected directions, and his musicianship was unparalleled.
Thank you all again for your love of this wonderful music.
