These
are often trying times for Ph.D's searching for suitable employment, a problem
that is not confined to the biomedical sciences or to the United States. The
internet offers a particularly useful medium for exchange of employment-related
information. However, sifting through this large and ever-increasing volume of
information can be a time-consuming task for the job-seeker with specialized
career options. This set of links is being compiled by a fellow scientist to
assist colleagues in the biomedical and other sciences who may be exploring the
