DAY 4 SACRED VALLEY TOUR
Breakfast .Hr. 9 am excursion to Sacred Valley of Incas .Services included: Bus service to the market of Pisaq , Calca , Urubamba , Ruins of Ollantaytambo , and the Chinchero's market. English and Spanish speaking guide. Buffet Lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba. Return to Cusco at 6,30 PM Lodging at your Hotel (Breakfast, Buffet Lunch).
DAY 5 MACHUPICCHU
Breakfast.Hr.5,30 am departure to Machupicchu . Services included : Transfer from hotel to railway station, round trip Train ticket Cusco/Agua Calientes/Cusco, bus service to ruins and back , Buffet Lunch at a restaurant in Aguas calientes, complete Ruin's tour with an English and Spanish speaking guide. Overnigth at your hotel ( Breakfast, Buffet Lunch)
Day 6 Aguas Calientes
Day at leisure in Aguas Calientes to continue visiting the ruins by your own. In the afternoon we'll take the train, the departure is around 3pm to arrive back in Cusco around 7pm ,transfer from the train station to your hotel, overnight at your Hotel)
DAY 7 CUSCO PUNO
Breakfast. Transfer to the train or bus station. Ten hour train or bus ride to Puno , across the scenic high Andes landscapes only dotted by small villages and herds of the llamas and vicuñas. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel, (if you choose the bus the is included visits to 3 archaeological places in the road and the buffet lunch, the road is paved)
DAY 8 UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS
You will be picked up from your hotel 7,30 AM, after 2 and half hours motorboat you will arrive at the Uros island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island.The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water. At present they speak Quechua and Aymara. Then we will visit the Taquile island , including lunch in the co-operative restaurant, there is also a co-operative shop on the plaza that sells exceptional woollen goods which are not cheap but of very fine quality. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow only about 1 KM wide , but 6 to 7 KM long, on Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing . You will return in Puno in the afternoon, overnight at your hotel (Breakfast,Lunch)
DAY 9 SUN ISLAND
You will picked up from your hotel at 6,30 am. You will go overland across the border through the colonial town of Juli, and the village of Yunguyo: July and Pomata were very important cultural centres in the 17th century and their magnificent churches give testimony to that old splendour.You will arrive into Copacabana after about 3 hours .Copacana is the most important religious sanctuary of Bolivia, thousands of pilgrims visit every year the virgin of Copacabana also known as Native Madonna , you will visit the main square and the impressive Cathedral (1/2 hour tour).You will arrive into the Sun Island after about 1 hour of a spectacular catamaran cruise , this island has been identified as the birthplace of several revered entities , including the sun itself. A source of magnetic energy , the vertex of the earth and the cradle of the Inca Empire , the Inca couple Manco Kapac and Mama Ocllo appeared here and founded the Sun Empire. During a 1 hour and half Sun Island Tour (South side) you will visit :
- The Inca garden , the island micro cliimate provides the ideal location for this garden that during Inca times was full of Andean flowers , water and trees.
- The Inca Steps that was built by the IIncas in order to reach the Inca Water spring
- The Inca water spring , a natural wateer spring with 3 different openings of different tastes, this Inca made water fountain is supposed to be a source of ethernal youth.
- The Sun Island Ethno Eco Complex, thatt contains the largest amount of archaeological items founded in the island and the largest demo variety of Andean flora and fauna available in Bolivia.
- Sun Island North side Land Tour (2 hours) :
- Challapampa native village and Museum , the most isolated and unspoiled village in the Lake and the archaeological museum that displays ancient spoons , blades, stone tools etc.
- Chinkana Inca Holy Temple , the islandd's most spectacular ruins complex, the main feature is the Palacio del Inca also known as "El Labirinto" .This maze of stone walls and tiny doorways overlooks a lovely white beach lapped by deep blue waters.
- Sailing on a typical native fishing booat , these wood made boats are basically used for net-fishing. Carrying about 6 person , the native captain rows or wind sails if it is possible , depending on the weather condition
- The Sun Island Kallawaya Ancient Cerimmony, witchcrafts,natural medicine, art, magic, and millenary traditions are part of the mystic world of the Kallawayas heritage.The purpose of this mystic ceremony is to purify the souls of the Chinkana holy temple visitors, this Cerimony take place in a Inca altar at the top of the hill facing the temple and overlooking the lake.
- Dinner and Sun Island folkloric demonstration on board.
- Catamaran overnight (Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 10 TITIKAKA CRUISE JOURNEY
After 1 hour of catamaran cruise including lunch on board You will return back to Copacabana and then to Puno , we will arrive in Puno at 5,30 PM , overnight in your hotel.
DAY 11 CHUCUITO AND SILLUSTANI:
Breakfast, at 9:30 am we will going to visit the Chucuito town to enjoy the colonial style of this very nice village all the entrance is included, then we will going to come back to Puno at 12:00 to take the lunch (not included), then in the afternoon at 2:30 tour to the SILLUSTANI RUINS, near Puno are the chullpas /pre-colombian funeral towers ) of Sillustani. The scenery is desert but impressive in a beautiful setting on a peninsula on lake Ayumara about 32 KM. From Puno. Most of the towers date from the period of Inka occupation in the 15th century, the ingeniering involved in their construction is more complex then anything the inkas built. Trasfer to your hotel.
DAY 12 PUNO LIMA
breakfast, morning at leasure in Puno for you and in the afternoon transfer the airport where we'll take the flight back to Lima (AIRFARE INCLUDED), end of our services.
